Leonard, legend has, had come three years earlier, and he took the entire family and migrated to Seisholtzville, Hereford
Twp., Berks Co., PA for here later we find Peter Fetherolf and wife, Anna Maria Rothermel and her brother Leonard, living
on adjacent farms as neighbors.
Leonard was the first of Johannes and Sybilla Zimmerman Rothermel's family to migrate to America. Leonard arrived at the
Port of Philadelphia on October 2, 1727 aboard the "Adventure Galley" from the German Palatinate, with commander
John Marion. His name was recorded as "Rodermill". No birth or death dates are known, but it is thought that he
and his wife are buried at or near Swamp Lutheran Church, New Hanover, PA., since several of his children were confirmed there.
